Rather monotonous,
Each wave crashes into the shore
A perpetual cycle of promising,
then withdrawing away into your conscious
I thirst,
You flood me.
I hold you close
You draw away.
Saltwater through my hands,
its water makes me yet thirstier concaving and shape-shifting,
slipping away yet again.
No light do I see,
only stars scattered across the canvas of the night,
glistening with a tint,
puncturing the darkness of the sky
I walk on.
Rather monotonous,
Each wave crashes into the shore
The tides are higher now,
Waves crashing harder than ever before
Under the artwork of the night,
I quietly write my discourses in the dark.
