Hello, I’m Rayyan and I’m a short story writer and poet.

At the moment, I have not published my works though do seek to do so in the future. I enjoy writing works of surrealism, stories with a layer of the metaphysical, and also absurdist proses.

However, recently I have been making an effort to branch out to various other genres where I might find my calling. From my early ‘rhyme in every line’ poems to me growing as a person today I have always written poetry.

From Rumi to Sylvia Plath, I have been drawn to its beauty, ambiguity, and depth. As they say, the poet is a liar who tells the truth.

You may find me outdoors, reading, or just plonked down on the sofa watching a new show. Easy going, always smiling, approachable are things I like to think about myself. Just have fun, you know? Take things as they come to you.
