Worlds apart from the weekend
Monday comes.
Teachers and students are tired.
Maths is boring
Another day passes
Once again the weekend seems distant.
The routine is back, slowly
English is tiresome
and now you are halfway through the week.
Praying for
The not–so–near Saturday to arrive.
Science is lame.
Thursday has arrived
ah, pre Friday
Everyone is excited, awaiting
Maths wasn’t so boring
Friday comes, savior of the
Innocent, weak and hunted
and now a glimmer appears in the eyes
Of every child.
Today was fun
but then, quick as a flash
Worlds apart from the weekend
Monday comes.
